Very helpful and pleasant employee, who helped with the parking and carried the suitcases up the stairs.

There are stairs but the staff help with bags. Breakfast was good and staff made our coffee, tea or hot chocolate or latte.

The place is clean but I did not like that no one was there when we got there. Luckily, the limo driver we took got hold of the man. He had originally sent us an email asking us what time we would arrive as the front desk would be staffed only until 8 pm. I responded that we would be there around 2 pm. When we got there around 1 pm, he was not there and the building was locked.

Antonio met us and was extremely helpful and welcoming. This hotel was everything we expected. It was good value for money and located very close to the port. The room was basic but very clean and modern. We had everything we could need and the bed was very comfortable. There is no lift and stairs to the room. We did not have to worry as Antonio carried our bags up and down the stairs. He was a great help.

Property description was perfect. Clean room with excellent bed and shower. I didn’t expect much for breakfast, so cup of coffee was satisfactory with several nearby cafe’s for full or continental breakfast. No elevator and quite a few stairs if you have a lot of luggage, but help was readily available for assistance. Only 4-6 rooms, and walkable from train station or cruise port (just under a mile for each. Very convenient for shopping, restaurants, bus transportation with Cathedral a block away. Highly recommend for price!!

Good accomodarion. Seniors from Perth Australia.. Helpful and friendly staff. Large room. Good loccation. Walk to shops, in front of port and eateries. Taxi $20Eu to cruise ship or walk to cruise ship shuttle pick up point. Continental Breakfast provided. Rooms on the first floor.. No lift, but there is help from Antonio or Simon to help with luggages. Will use Residence Stendhal again.

This was a great choice for us..There are stairs to maneuver. The staff was helpful with our very heavy baggage.. Location was perfect and the facility was quiet throughout the night. A taxi to the cruise ship was summoned for time we needed and the driver was prompt and courteous .

I wish I had read more carefully that this lodging did not have disabled guests access. The check in process was completely strange and chaotic. We didn't even know if the driver dropped us at the right place. It was a non de-script, bare door with a small sign next to it saying call them. We called and someone picked up quickly, with a crying baby in the background and promptly hung up, after 2 more tries a man came and met us. He let us in and we had to go up a flight of stairs to get to the room access. It turned out he was a very nice man who made a bad first impression. Nevertheless, the accommodations were impressively clean, yet simple. It also felt safe there. I use a walker and there is nothing set up to accommodate that need, so it was a bit difficult. Still, despite the unorthodox reception, I would be willing to stay there again. It is also situated really well in the city, right next to all kinds of shopping and restaurants and of course, the port.
