Auto-check in via message and door codes worked surprisingly well. Very basic room, but clean and comfortable. Good value.

No staff at the property, check-in is suppose to be automated via SMS. I never received message with door codes, property phone went unanswered for over an hour, making check-in impossible during that time

Room was nice and clean. Good location. Coffee powder for one day only, no milk, no tea bags, no soap in shower, no room service, no check-in info, staff kind but not so well informed and often counter closed. But probably all as to be expected for this price.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Upon arrival there is no reception and they are supposed to text you a code by 3pm on the day you arrive, but they didn’t. 20 minutes and two calls to their “24/7 reception line” and I’m still stuck outside. Then after the third call someone finally picks up and i’m given a code. Then the room is 30*C with the window open and smells like horse manure. The thermostat for the central air doesn’t work to adjust the temperature so I call the reception number and of course no one picks up. So after hoping the room will cool down by 9pm at night I return only to find the temperature is the same. I call the reception again, then message the hotel and finally someone picks up the phone after another call only to tell me that in Trondheim hotels don’t have “air conditioning” but they have “central air”, and that someone can come at 11pm to check if my thermostat is working but they can’t fix it. The receptionist refuses to move me to another room, to send someone to check on the central air, or to refund my money for what the receptionist calls “the weather”. Eventually I had to leave or pass out since I couldn’t breathe. This is the worst customer service and hotel I have ever booked through expedia.

I received a message in the morning saying the room is ready. I arrived at 6 pm and found that the room was not cleaned. There are two bars just next to the hotel. People speak very loudly until 3 am.

Avoid it.

Amended my booking to day later. But discovered afterward that both nights were deducted. They refused to credit!! Cheats!

This hotel is terribly disorganized and I would never stay here again. The direction indicate that they will text and email you a code to get into your room. When I had not received a code by checkin time (3pm) I sent them a message using Facebook messenger (because their website has messenger pop up and ask if you have questions) at 3:45pm and never received a response. We arrived to the hotel around 6:15pm and the reception was closed and locked. We called the phone number they provided and it just kept ringing, no one ever answered. I then called Expedia and was on the phone with them for over an hour. Eventually Expedia got in contact with the owner and he made them continue to call the hotel phone number (that we had previously called) for awhile, and still no one answered. Finally Expedia talked to the owner again and we were able to get a code to enter our room (this was around 7:30pm, checkin was at 3:00pm, so this was 4.5 hours late). In the end we spent almost an hour and a half sitting in a hallway waiting to check in. We were then told a manager would be at the desk by 8am. When we went at 8:45am, no one was there. We again called the number that they say they answer 24 hours/day, but still no one answered. I recommend avoiding this place at all costs.
