Lovely hosts and very clean place to stay. They couldn’t do enough for us and the location is right in the city of Havana. Would recommend.

Dailen, her mother and her husband, Santiago were excellent hosts. The room was very clean, the shower was hot, the bed was comfortable. The location was excellent, close to the Capitol, walking distance to Old Havana, bicycle taxis on the corner for 5cuc to most of the places we wanted to go. The street they are located on is not touristy, filled with many modest family homes but we felt very safe walking around at night even on dark streets. The breakfast on the roof for 5cuc was very convenient. Every day we were brought coffee or tea, a pitcher of fresh juice (guava or pineapple), a plate of fresh cut fruit, a basket of bread, an egg and a breakfast meat like some bacon. They always accommodated our schedule with an early or late breakfast as needed. There was a safe in the room which we probably did not need to use bc we felt very trusting of everyone, but we used it for our cash given the US dollars we brought was the only money we had access to (no US ATM or Credit Cards work in Cuba). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this Casa Particulares to anyone looking to save money and interact with a local family. We chose to bring US goods with us for the Cuban people, toiletries, medicines, small toys, spices, chocolate.. everyone we gave goods to was very appreciative as there are often shortages of these items in Cuba and/or they can be expensive.

Very friendly hosts. Great breakfast. Small cozy room with pretty minimal amenities, but definitely above average for Cuba. Very quick walk to Parque Central or the old district.

Amazing hosts, super clean casa, excellent breakfast, great roof top terrace, all in the old downtown Havana. We wanted the real Cuban experience and not a tourist hotel, and this was the right place to be. We experienced authentic Cuban life all around us, and tourist attractions were all within walking distance. The big red bus showed us the bigger Havana, some richer areas and more touristy places. The family of Casa Factoria helped us with everything we wanted to do. They did speak more English tha we know Spanish, so it was fine to converse with them. Really nice people. Dailen and Santiago and their Mom made us feel right at home. The only thing to consider when visiting a country like Cuba is that it is not comparable to American standards. The old town in Havana is poor and run down and if there is an AC then it's a window unit.. But the people are wonderful. So are the Mojitos, and the food. We had a great experience, and our hosts Dailen and Santiago were fabulous. Highly recommend. Would stay with them again.

Cette Casa particular est juste Incroyablement propre !! Les hôtes ont été d'une gentillesse.... je trouve pas les mots, le cœur sur la main. Et en plus, l'emplacement est génial, juste à côté du Capitolio Je reviendrai c'est sûr, c'était trop court mais innoubliable

Die herzliche Familie, man hat ein gutes Gefühl und ist ein Teil der Familie. Man ist sehr wilkommen und obwohl die Mensche die dort leben nicht viel haben, wird alles geteilt.
