Very nice hotel

We were very pleased with our stay in this hotel. Only stayed one night but it was wonderful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel.

Centrally Located in Downtown Zacatecas. Parking is Provided by Hotel Valet cause Parking is Limited and Scarce in Downtown Zacatecas. Hotel Valet takes your Car and Parks it in their Hotel Parking Space.

This is a great hotel to stay in Zacatecas. A true representation of Zacatecas aristocracy, back in the days. The location was resorted, but kept its character, with original windows, doors, etc. It is gorgeous. You don’t feel like you’re in a hotel but in a home. There are many areas for guests to lounge throughout the hotel. I only have one concern, but an essay fix: the door bell after hours was an issue for me. I could hear it all night long. Guests would ring the bell, and if the door didn’t get answered in two seconds, guests would ring it again, tiiiiii-taaaa, tiiii-taaaaa. It was non-stop all night long. I would definitely recommend this location, but a word to management, can you fix the doorbell so that only staff can hear it.

The hotel is clean and great location for walking to The Cathedral and museums, etc. The staff parked our rental car, which was a big plus--streets are CROWDED! We didn't need a rental car! Taxis are CHEAP! We were in the first room. The first night the hotel had a ding-dong chime whenever someone entered the hotel, and it was impossible to sleep. The next morning we asked them to turn it off, which they did, and we slept fine. This is the first place I have visited in Mexico where NO ONE speaks English. My husband is from Zacatecas, so we were fine. The city is truly beautiful, and we are already planning a return trip next year. I would not hesitate to book another stay at Hotel Casa Faroles.

I asked for an upgrade not knowing the bill would go from 2550 to 4050. A little too much considering the noise and music coming from the street until 2:00 am. The hotel gave us ear plugs! The internet went on and off and so the TV. The night person was kind as the one at the front desk . Great location. The hotel does not provide a map of the garage location and it was difficult to find the car.

For vacation purposes the ubication of this hotel is perfect, in general this is a good local hotel in a refurbished colonial construction.

Excelente localización muy cerca de todo y a una cuadra del centro histórico, frente a una plaza bonita. De aspecto antiguo pero con modernidad en todos sus cuartos dan un contraste muy agradable. Cuartos y camas muy cómodos y un baño espacioso y limpio. Todo funcionando de manera adecuada.
