Rooms are really clean and nice space. Breakfast and food lunch options need improving. Quite basic lunch at the pool and only ever one person serving. Queues at time and hotel wasn’t full. I would recommend though, for the price the rooms and pool were great. Nice to have the spa there too which was very reasonable.

Short break in Gara Suites

Gara Suites is a really nice hotel with a potential to be excellent if it wasn't for an average customer service and the mediocre food. We loved heated swimming pool, with plenty of sunbeds and beautiful view from the balcony of our room. What needs improvement is the equipment in the room- it's really bad, that there aren't any coffee/tee making facilities or even some cups or wine glasses in a 4* hotel. The food served in the buffet restaurant is not horrible, but it's often cold, lacks seasoning and is repetitive and rather lower quality. We were always able to find something nice to eat, but what was okay for a few days, would probably be difficult to eat for the whole week or longer. It's a shame that there was nothing free to drink with lunch and dinner, not even water. Reception staff was just alright, not as attentive or friendly as some other hotels. Overall Gara Suites presents good value for money, we had a nice stay and would return again in the future

We liked that the hotel had a spa, however we wish we would have been told that it does not open on Sundays. This left us unable to visit the spa durimg our short weekend stay. Apart from that, everything was satisfactory.

The room was not ready at 3PM, got the keys only one hour later. As apology for this, hotel provide free underground parking for our car.

Lovely location, away from the crowd but only 10 min from Playa de Americas, Los Cristianos or Parque De Santiago. Good variety of breakfast and dinner.

Would have been nicer without mouse poo

Quiet hotel in the middle of a golf course. Meals were very similar every day. We found mouse poo in one of the meals.

Nice hotel in nice setting.

Pros: Midday checkout was helpful, friendly staff, free luggage storage, good selection at buffet breakfast. Lovely spacious room with roof terrace overlooking golf course. Cons: No iron or kettle in the room, went to reception to ask and they didn’t have an iron. Floor of room was slightly dirty on arrival. Coffee was poor (I admit I am a coffee snob though). Although breakfast had a good selection, not all of it was that tasty, churros and pancakes were very bland. The cold meat and cheese selection redeemed it however.

NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL

Where do I start well definitely not 4 star ⭐️ Very basic rooms had to complain for several days just to get a kettle and a iron & iron board there was no option of any restaurant just a buffet that some guests had paid for in there stay entertainment in the evening was shocking advertising a sauna but it was part of the spa service so €15 per day per person Only one bar day and one bar in night you had no choice but to leave the hotel to find some sort of entertainment the taxi drivers ripped you off on every occasion and they where very aggressive if you asked why the fare was always different will not be going back to that hotel ever again and never use a taxi would rather walk on hot coal o and the reception staff where so rude it was hard to believe (disgusting )
