Beachfront Sunrise - Waterfront House w/ bay and Refuge Views

This is exactly what my family needed. A nice quiet stay with a beautiful view!

This property was an ideal setting for a quiet Thanksgiving. It was a great respite from the hustle and bustle. The enclosed porch offered exceptional views of the water and served as a perfect place to enjoy the sunrise, coffee, and a good book. Although chilly, we enjoyed walks on the beach, just steps from the house. Thank you for a fun stay.

My family of three plus dog had a wonderful relaxing week in this airy and welcoming beachfront home. The floor plan is nice and open, with passthroughs to the sunroom so you pretty much always have a view of the beach. Nice amenities, comfortable furnishings, and decor that is beachy without being too beachy. A great choice also if you are traveling with your pooch. The yard is securely fenced, and you are steps away from sandy beach runs with your best friend. Prime Hook is perfect if you want to combine nature walks, bird watching, kayaking and other outdoor recreation with shopping and dining of nearby Lewes and Rehoboth. The wildlife refuge trails are about 10 minutes away by car - great for birding and short scenic hikes with family and dog. The hosts were helpful and friendly. We loved this house and are sad to leave but expect we'll be back.

Dogs first time to beach and they loved it. Fenced in yard was perfect. Property was clean and equiped with everything needed. Owners were very responsive and checked in to make sure everything was to our liking. Will try and reserve again at end of summer if available.

This was exactly as it was described, and an absolute perfect get away. I loved sitting and looking out the front windows at the ships and watching the horseshoe crabs and birds. The house was clean, comfortable and the views were absolutely beautiful.

This home is great for vacation! The views from the home can't get any better. The house was very clean on arrival. I was able to bring my dog (it was really his vacation). That's why I choose this home. It also has a fenced in yard once you close all the gates. VRBO makes it very easy to contact the owner when necessary. I'd definitely would to stay at this home again someday and check out some of the areas that I didn't get to on this trip.

Quiet neighborhood, nice house, easy beach access, dog friend, kid friendly, safe area, clean. Enjoyable stay!

So many great details, where do I begin! The fenced yard was filled with flowers where we could watch the birds and rabbits. The beach had lots of wildlife as well, with horseshoe crabs, birds, fish, and dolphins. We could enjoy all of this from the beautiful sunroom. The view was absolutely amazing! The old Ferry booth was a popular eating spot for the two teens in the group! The kitchen had everything we needed. There was plenty of storage space for us in the bedrooms, and with the open concept you could see the water from the kitchen and living/dining areas too. The owners gave plenty of information about the property and were available if we needed them. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing experience.

My family and I (plus our various animals) lucked out with this place. We had gorgeous weather, and perfect views from the window filled enclosed porch looking out over the water. We arrived to a clean, lovely space (and a bottle of champagne) with everything we needed to enjoy a truly exceptional family vacation.

Mike & Laura were wonderful hosts, the home was perfect, 180 degree views from the sun room, and steps to the beach. What more could you ask for on vacation?
